True, but this means that anybody who wants to re-run auto* for libgcj
will need to have the right version of Gtk installed.  I think it is a
bit better for us to check in the macro directly somewhere, so that
this requirement is lifted.

With Gtk 2 I believe you use pkg-config instead.
