I have successfully bootstrapped on sparc-sun-solaris2.7 with
	srcdir != objdir (a sibling directory)
	srdir == objdir. This bootstrap proceeded up to the libobjc stage
		where it attempted to autoconf. I am starting from scratch
		with --enable-languages="c,c++,java", but that will take
		a few hours
	--srcdir=/some/absolute/path This has got to the building libjava
		stage, and is proceeding

I applied your patch for libjava and for boehm-gc, and my patch for
libstdc++ gthr.

As you can see above, that is progressing nicely

So the patches look good. I doubt the two builds will have completed
before I go off line today, but I think they've got past the killer
points. If you want to commit the patches please do, or I'll do it
tomorrow when those bootstraps will have successfully completed.
