Well. There's not really a way to test it without actually doing
it. The repository is off. If you try to commit a change, you'll get
an error message.

  apbianco@kazmo[~/src/libgcj]: cvs -n commit ChangeLog
  ##################################################################
gcc.gnu.org:/cvs/java is now a read-only repository. It is not
possible to commit changes, or tag files in this module.

This repository is about to be moved over to the gcc tree:

Instructions on how to check sources out of the new repository
will be posted, but are also available online:

  Write to java-discuss@sources.redhat.com if necessary.

(We will re-open at a different location soon.)
