PATCH: Compiler support for new interface dispatch

Wonderful. We're exited to review a significant compiler patch. If we
want to have that checked in as soon as possible, there is some
paperwork to be done. You basically want to fill out a copyright
assignment form and send it in to the FSF, details can be found here:

In the meantime, this patch really belongs to egcs-patches@egcs.cygnus.com,
in order for it to get exposed to compiler people. Once we get the
paperwork done, someone with write access will be able to check this
in.
