[[gnu::pure]] vs [[reproducible]]

Hi!
The documentation for [[reproducible]] says that the difference between
that and [[gnu::pure]] is finitness, but finitness is not defined
anywhere. Could you please clarify what it means?
Does it mean that a [[reproducible]] function might loop forever? Is
such a function also allowed to [[noreturn]]?
Have a lovely night!
Alex
