[GSoC] Question about continuing a 2025 project in GSoC 2026

Hello,

I am Arijit Kumar Das. I worked in GSoC 2025 on the project “Implementation of a
simple in-memory file system for running offloading tests on NVIDIA GPUs.” The
work was partially completed, and I am interested in continuing it in
GSoC 2026 by
submitting a new proposal building on last year’s developments (for example, by
implementing an RPC mechanism).

I would like to ask whether submitting such a continuation proposal would be
acceptable this year, or whether the community would prefer that I focus on a
different, currently listed project instead.
