You must be.  I just bootstrapped with c, c++, and java, and it was

user    164m5.664s
sys     21m59.769s

Without bootstrapping, that's

real    21m56.764s
user    73m37.137s
sys     11m8.702s

And note, I'm doing a full build including binutils.  This is a Xeon W3520,
2.6 GHz.

Time to upgrade?
