cpplib utf8, status?

I received my answer, so I don't care whether it's there or not. And
also googling for gcc utf8 cpplib already points to this thread, so it's
easy to find this answer anyways.

Now if only I knew where to implement that perl filter inside gcc's
source code. I'd would perhaps give it a try :)
