GCC primary/secondary platforms?

GCC developers test patches according to the guidelines at:
http://gcc.gnu.org/contribute.html
Adding a new compiler to the collection is a different thing. We must have
some evidences that it will work reasonably well on (at least) primary and
secondary platforms, so a good coverage of architecture types is required.
