building gcc4-4.3.0-20070518 failed on OSX 10.3.9

Thanks Dominique, I just reverted this patch to see if I get further. I 
have the same problem on 10.4.9 and was to lazy to investigate that deep 
as you did.
I'll let you know how it works.
