I think maybe it's best, after my initial flurry of postings, not to 
respond directly -- I don't want to dominate the discussion.

So, I'll just say that I think that's a perfectly reasonable suggestion, 
and step back.  In a few days, I'll try to put together a summary of the 
opinions of the group.
