Yes, I noticed that and sent a mail to ooverseers@gcc.gnu.org

You can workaround by relocating the working copy to use http:// instead, as in:

svn switch --relocate svn://gcc.gnu.org/svn/gcc/trunk
http://gcc.gnu.org/svn/gcc/trunk
