Compiling gcc 3.2.3, AMD, x86_64,

I'm trying to compile gcc v3.2.3 and I'm getting through most of it but 
the make file stops showing the following error:

/bin/sh: ./../../../configure: No such file or directory
configure: error: ./../../../configure failed for libU77

If I could get some help troubleshooting this problem, I'd be grateful.
