What should -fdump-tree-...-details include? (was Re: Patch ping)

That was the purpose of -fdump-tree-all, actually.  But it's a convention, 
and over time some passes have deviated from that convention.  Another 
sub-item in the 'cleanup dump machinery' TODO.

This would be particularly easy to implement, if we had a multilevel 
-details switch.  Of course, this should include adapting some/most of the 
pattern matches in the testsuite.
