GCC 4.1: Buildable on GHz machines only?

I've just submitted Richard Henderson's recent data, showing that 2/3
of the time spent in building libjava is wasted in libtool, along with
detailed logs to back this up, to bug-libtool.  We'll all welcome any
improvements the libtool developers can make.
