The files with "diff" as part of their names only contain the changes
wrt. a previous release of GCC.

Please note that this list deals with the development *of* GCC, not with
the development *with* GCC.

http://gcc.gnu.org/install/ contains some details on how to install GCC,
but you might be better of installing a precompiled version for your
system (http://gcc.gnu.org/install/binaries.html).
