2.95.3 gcc compiler does not install in Mac_OS_X 10.2

The 2.95.2 gcc compiler from gnu, I am not able to install it, I do not know
why.

  I am using as compiler the gcc compiler from Macintosh, the gcc-937.2 that
is based on the gcc-2.95.2.

  When I do a configure execution using as host= powerpc-apple-macos.  It
finally says that the configuration powerpc-apple-macos is not supported.

   And it fails doing the configuration.

   Does anyone knows why this thing happens.
