There are probably 2 way, oh well not elegant, but really sys-adminers ;-)
1) Create a chrooted enviroment with right glibc, compiler, tools (see 
www.linuxfromscratch.org if you are old-school, see www.gentoo.org if 
you not ;-))
2) Creating a full cross-compiling enviroment.

But hey check mail, all in this ml are more gcc-skilled than me.
