debug option mising?

Hi,
I was working on gcc 3.3.3 when I don't find the option
"-feliminate-unused-debug-types" .  But its present in both
3.2.3 (though its NOT documented, it supports) and
3.4.0 gcc versions.    Any inputs on why its missing in 3.3.3 OR
if I am looking at somthing wrong?  Or is there any equivalent
option ?
