building 3.4.0 for powerpc-elf target

Hi,

I'm attempting to build a win32 hosted powerpc-elf cross compiler with the
3.4.0 tarball using mingw. I currently get a failure in the make all-gcc
stage as follows :-

I'm using binutils 2.14.0

the native compiler is 3.2.3

anyone have any ideas?
