ld segfault when building objc source with pthread

gnu ld crashes when i try to build a threaded objc program. How
do i pinpoint the cause? Im using binutils-040322 and
gcc-3.4-20040317 with uclibc-snapshot. im trying with gdb but
im getting nowhere.
