large file support in g++

Is bug 8610 fixed in the current snapshot of g++
(GCC 3.4-20040317 Snapshot)?

I ask because Paolo Carlini has posted that it is fixed
on the Bugzilla thread, but there is no mention of this
on the changes page for 3.4.

I guess a lot of people will be wanting to know
when this fix is available.

I need large file support, and if the fix is in,
I will be pleased to help by testing and reporting
any problems.
