Hmmm... it's tempting ;)  But o64 has long been the default for
mips64*-elf configurations.  Lots of embedded developers have
grown used to it, despite the warts and lack of docs.

Besides, is o64 really that much of a maintenance burden?
Relatively few places test only for mips_abi == ABI_O64
(and it looks like we're about to get rid of one of them).
