However, there has been no announcement on gcc-announce and there's 
nothing in the News section about this.

And the branch-status link for gcc-3.3.3 points to a status message that 
predates even the pre-release freeze.

Could you clarify the status of the release please (I've found a critical 
bootstrap bug on the arm-elf configuration).
