Thanks, Greg, I just wanted to add exactly this to the thread.
runtime-version-check instead of compiler-version-check, to be more
exactly :-)
There are lots of functions to abstract the runtime already since we
have two different runtimes anyways. This comes in handy here.
Compatibility with an additional set of compilers is well an argument
for such a minor change in GNUstep-base, IMHO.
