GCC-3.3.3 first prerelease -- bootstrap failure

Indeed: the default installation docs on gcc.gnu.org are always for
mainline.

This patch only made <pthread.h> usable with gcc 3.3.2 at all, but does
nothing abouth --enable-threads.
