I see someone else reported this as bug 16979 in our bugzilla bug 
database.  This looks like a binutils problem.  You did not report your 
binutils version, but I am guessing you are using 2.14, and this bug may 
be fixed in 2.15.  See also other suggestions in the bug report.

We make no guarantees about ABI compatibillity from one release to the 
next.  If there is any C++ code, then there is no practical chance of 
this working.  If there is only C code, then there is a reasonable 
chance of this working.
