    Please, when discussing a problem on a mailing list, send the reply to
the list as well, rather than just straight to one person.  That way, if
someone else has the same problem, they can also see the answer; they will

Have you seen http://gcc.gnu.org/readings.html ?  It has many good
references.

Also, do 'info gccint' to read the gcc internals manual if you have a full
gcc installation on your system.
