minor gcc2->gcc3 migration nit

I agree with Richard, having a special way to invoke one particular
language is unfortunate an unexpected. I think a better analogy would be
to say it's like trying to steer a car using the steering wheel, and 
then being told that on this car you use the joystick on the console,
that's what it's there for :-)
