3.4.0-20040406 regression: 'make install' fails with Java. PR12730?

This is the same fail I noticed doing a single 'make bootstrap' and 'make 
install' in my SuSE Linux 9.0 (Athlon XP). I reported it to gcc list some 
hours ago. Indeed it should be fixed before release.
