help with CVS

Hi,
  is there any way to find out what are all the
changes that have been made to a particular version of
gcc(like 3.2.3) over a period of time(given two dates
or two version numbers).

and...
 which of the changes contribute to some bug 'fix'
I mean... "that particular change has been made to fix
some bug not for some enhancement or anything".

I tried 'cvs log'..but there is not enough information
in the log file about the bug fixes.....any help will
be greatly appreciated..thank you
