I'm hesitant to compare the two systems, which have very little in 
common; memory speeds, cache sizes, number of CPUs, OS differences, and 
processor speeds all make it somewhat of an tangerines and oranges 
comparison (is in, they're similar, but not the same.)

Which isn';t to say that I won't write some sort of comparison, given 
that I automatically compare the machines simple because I'm using them. 
I just have to find the right *kind* of comparison...
