gen_reg_rtx, emit_call_insn, start_sequence, get_insns etc? I looked in the GCC internals manual and there is no documentation on these things. I am specificly trying to understand what goes into legitimize_tls_address (in i386.c), what happens inside that file and what goes out of legitimize_tls_address.
