I figured it was my fault we ran out of space, it may really be you

Looks like someone switched to a different log rotator or
logrotate.conf file or something.
Chris, isn't that the weekend you upgraded all those packages?
I ask because
1. logrotate.conf no longer has compress turned on
2. /var/log/httpd's logs aren't set to be rotated automatically.
Were they ever being rotated using logrotate, or was it done by some
internal apache config file setting?
