And IMHO it should be in executable form, so you can potentially
just run a script to get a working toolchain.  I'm trying to pull
together examples; so far, I have a canned script that downloads
sources and builds a working gcc/glibc/binutils for powerpc-linux
for gcc-3.2.3.  I'll try to do more.  They'll be at
http://www.kegel.com/crossgcc/
and are based on Bill Gatliff's work.
