Good idea !

BTW, without http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2003-05/msg00575.html the 
tree-ssa branch won't build on Alpha.

Oh, and you need about a dozen no-warn entries added to 
gcc/gcc/Makefile.in :-(
