Just to tell you that there is a beta version of the CHUD tools on the
ftp site, Shikari
is now called Shark and has a large number of new features (G5 support
also) and you can save sessions.
Also there is a new program in the CHUD tools called Saturn (I helped
make it, so this is self promoting here)
that uses the -finstrument-function options of gcc to profile your
program, you can try it with gcc but
there is a bug in the current mainline so you cannot use it with the
mainline, yes I have already filled the
bug, PR 10584, hopefully this gets fixed soon:) .
You can ask me any questions you have of Saturn or Shark or really any
CHUD tools and if I
cannot answer them I will forward them on to the right person at Apple.
