We can't be of much help to you.  We'd rather you built in a scheduler 
into the port file, inside gcc, or better yet, enhance gcc's scheduler 
to include the complexity you require.

The first one is easier, quicker, and a fairly poor long term solution, 
without the flexibility one would like to really solve the problem 
well.  The second one would be our preference.  If you must write your 
own, that is beyond the scope of this list.
