I can offer www.dealii.org. Untar, put your favorite version of gcc into PATH
or set CXX/CC, run ./configure and "make all" and time the whole thing. As I
said, I'd be happy to write some instructions if anyone is interested.
deal.II would have the advantage that you know whom to ask. An additional
benefit is that this library has been proposed as a SPEC CPU2004 entry.
