Why does sparc build for you? or, why are make check results reported when it hasn't bootstrapped since May 5?

I have filed a bug report
http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=10983, perhaps someone
with sparc{64,v9} for solaris can add a comment to that in bugzilla?
