Why do you automatically assume Kean Johnston did not do any of these
things over the last few months ?

He's obviously not at liberty to discuss political matters internal to SCO,
but you shouldn't presume he's not doing anything to remedy the current
situation.

That said, if the FSF, as an organization, decides to deal with SCO, the
corporation, globally, there's absolutely nothing individual geeks within SCO
should have to do with the matter.

If it's purely a question of `explaining' to SCO what the FSF and the GPL
stands for, individuals don't necessarily have anything to do about it.

How that relates to a philosophical definition of `freedom'  wrt `individuals'
is another can of worm entirely.
