Verbose Output error?

When -mmmx and -msse are added to the flags, it says that -mmmx -mno-mmx 
and -msse -mno-sse are enabled.  GCC 3.2.2 running gcc -v -Q empty.c 
-march=pentium3 -mmmx -msse
