+ Personally I would like to to the work.
- I do not have the time to do so.
- I don't know if it will be possible for me to get a
  copyright assignment. This limits me to simple obvious
  contributions.
- Last time this came up someone noticed unresolved
  copyright/licence problems with Granlund's sources.

Summing these points gives a negative -- sorry.
