Solaris (Sparc and x86) status?

There seem to be an astounding number of bootstrap failures reported 
against these platforms.

There appears to be no Solaris-specific OS port maintainer. :-(

Do any of the SPARC maintainers use Solaris?  Any of the x86 
maintainers?  Any of the 'blanket' maintainers?  *Any* of the maintainers?

I'm hoping that a lot of the reports are actually due to a small number 
of fundamental bugs (for instance, the reported bug in fixincludes). 
It's really not possible to work this stuff out without a Solaris 
machine, of course.

I'd like to suggest that someone with a Solaris box start tracking these 
bugs down. :-)  We have successful build reports for 3.1, so there must 
be someone with the facilities to either reproduce and track down the 
many bootstrap failures, or to be unable to reproduce them (thus 
allowing the reports to be closed, probably).  I hope.
