Greetings,
Arnold
Successful bootstrap build of gcc-3.2.2. Some tweaks were necessary.
Output from config.guess:
alpha-dec-osf4.0f
Output from gcc -v:
Reading specs from ./../lib/gcc-lib/alpha-dec-osf4.0f/3.2.2/specs
Configured with: /temp/gcc-3.2.2/configure --prefix=/usr/local/gcc-3.2.2
--enable-version-specific-runtime-libs
--enable-threads=posix --enable-libgcj
--enable-languages=c,c++,f77,objc,java,ada --enable-shared
Thread model: posix
gcc version 3.2.2
Bootstrap build was started using gcc (version 3.2.1) and GNU make
(version 3.79.1)
The following problems occured during compiler bootstrap:
$objdir/alpha-dec-osf4.0f/libjava/include/java-threads.h
no asm directory present; there is an asm.h file instead that
inlcudes machine/pal.h
changes made in line 251: #include asm/pal.h -> #include
machine/pal.h
$srcdir/libjava/java/lang/natObject.cc
changes made in line 496 (quite a hack):
usleep declaration copied from fixed unistd.h and added in front of
function spin()
