GCC 3.3 compile speed regression - AN ANSWER

Great progress have been made here, I saw my executable shrink from
100+ MB compiled with GCC 2.95 to 37 MB compiled with 3.2 from the
same source.

This seem to have been solved, I now count gdb load time in seconds
instead of minutes.
