Recent regressions in the libstdc++ testsuite

Hi,
as noticed first by J. David Anglin:
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/libstdc++/2003-12/msg00187.html
something went in around December the 16th which is causing regressions
on many platforms (not on i686-pc-linux-gnu).
Indeed, we had a few libstdc++ commits, but regressions (basically the
very same set) now appear at least on ia64-suse-linux-gnu:
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-testresults/2003-12/msg00798.html
and x86_64-suse-linux-gnu:
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-testresults/2003-12/msg00792.html
and I can *absolutely* confirm that, on those machines, using a compiler
dating back to December, 8th or 12th, together with a current library
doesn't produce any.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Paolo.
