No, it does not.
3.2.x and 3.3.x both are release branches, where the .x releases are
maintainance releases (which should be strictly better with increasing
.x and have extremely little risk for regressions).
The versions numbers of snapshots look as follows
version 3.4 20030816 (experimental)
^^^^^^^^^^^^
or
version 3.3 20030816 (prerelease)
^^^^^^^^^^
