Cannot build

Dear Colleague,

I am trying to install GCC-3.2 in a Solaris 2.7 Ultra-Sparc workstation.
I am at the stage of building for which, in advance, I have installed (and
am using) GNU make. However, I find the following errors:

bash-2.05# /usr/local/bin/make bootstrap-lean
make: *** No rule to make target `bootstrap-lean'.  Stop.
bash-2.05# /usr/local/bin/make bootstrap     
make: *** No rule to make target `bootstrap'.  Stop.
bash-2.05# 

What is wrong? Can you help?
