Request for hybrid Objective C and C++ support

Once the new C++ parser is in mainline, would it be a good idea if the
open C++ front-end bugs in GNATS (like my favourite, c++/80) are
re-assessed for currency?  It might be that some of them will be
magically fixed and can be closed.
